I am a Brit, but we are watching the election with keen interest here in the UK. As we currently have a socialist government (yes Gordon Brown is a socialist) I think I can safely say the Obama is NOT a socialist. And, even if he was, it has worked very well for the UK. I hope it all goes well for you over there. The world is watching!

Is there a lot of support for either canidate? Do people there care about what happens in the US elections?

In the UK we are generally more left wing than the US so there is a lot of support for Obama. The US election is all over the UK news at the moment and we all watch it with keen interest. I have to admit that Bush has been the butt of many jokes in the UK and I have a feeling McCain & Palin would suffer the same fate. Palin is the object of much derision just now, as she is very different to the average Brit woman. We will be watching closely tomorrow.

I am so glad that Obama has won. Now our country can finally get back onto a good track, new ideas, fresh policies, and good cabinet members.

you cant be sure that the country is going to be back on a good track just cause obama says he could do good he could do bad.
if he does fix the country its so easy for another president to come in and destroy it when ever obamas term is up
